The 2.8" Dying Shad from Gitzit imitates a small, injured fish - easy prey for perch, zander and pike. The special feature of the Dying Shad is the rigging, which runs crossways to the body surface. As a result, the dying shad slowly staggers to the bottom after casting and can already be attacked by predators. Once at the bottom, the dying shad is retrieved rather cautiously, a slight twitch here and there, then a pause, a slight shaking with the rod tip. It is best to have a look at all this in shallow water first to see how the dying shad reacts to the individual methods of presentation. A very versatile soft lure that will make even shy predators bite!
