The DECOY Slide Weights DS-12 are placed on the hook shank of wide-gap or off-set hooks to make the rigged soft lure sink faster and to stabilize its action. The slide weights can be fixed in different positions on the hook shank with the supplied Versatile Keepers to determine the sinking behavior. Further forward for a headfirst dive, in the middle for flanking the lure as it sinks or further back for a slight backward glide. There is also a small eyelet on the slide weight for attaching a spinner blade, for example.
