Ned Rig
The US fishing legend Ned Kehde developed this method, also known as the Midwest Finesse technique, for sluggish black bass in cold water. The secret of success is the combination of floating softbaits and special jigs, coupled with extremely slow lure action. The soft lures are dragged in slow motion over the bottom or moved with mini-hoppers and long pauses. Sounds boring, but it's a top technique when the perch and zander really stick to the bottom in winter.
