Heat the shrink tubing slightly, e.g. with a lighter, until it has shrunk to the desired size. The shrink ratio is approximately 2:1, which means that the 6.4 mm shrink tubing can be reduced to 3.2 mm by heating.
Sizes:
-
1.2 - 0.6 mm (black) - e.g. for building thin steel or titanium leaders to stabilize the area around the sleeve.
-
1,6 - 0,8 mm (black) - e.g. for construction of steel or titanium leaders to stabilize the area around the sleeve
-
2,4 - 1,2 mm (black) - e.g. for securing stingers or treble hooks on WideGap hooks
-
3,2 - 1,6 mm (black) - e.g. to wrap around swivels or snaps, so that less weed gets caught or to stiffen the areas
-
4,8 - 2,4 mm (black) - e.g. to close spinnerbait eyelets
-
6,4 - 3,2 mm (clear) - e.g. for wacky rig fishing - as a stable support for the hook for most worms up to 6"/ 15 cm
-
9,5 - 4,8 mm (clear) - e.g. for attaching Belly Weights to WideGap hooks
These are just a few examples of the uses of the various shrink tubes. A very useful helper for various applications that every modern lure angler should have on hand!
