Twister & Grubs
The triumph of softbaits began with twisters. The sickle tail generates less powerful pressure waves than the paddle tail of a swimbait. Thus, it also offers less water resistance, so that in comparison slightly lighter jig heads can be used. Most twisters already start to play their seductive action when fished slowly and thus often have the edge, especially, but by no means only, during the cold season. Twister, respectively softbaits with sickle tail, are suitable for almost all modern methods and finesse rigs, can be fished on the jig or rigged weedless on the offset hook.
