The ZagStick Pencil from Nories is a hardbait for topwater fishing, which is being produced exclusively for us again. With a length of 75 mm, it is the perfect size for almost any predatory fish. Unlike classic stickbaits, it can not only perform the typical “walk-the-dog” run on the surface, but can also be twitched just below the surface with more powerful strokes. There it breaks out sideways and imitates an injured fish – an irresistible prey for any predator.

Lure guidance

  • Walk-the-dog on the surface
    Guide the lure with light, regular tugs from the wrist. This creates a clean zigzag run that attracts a lot of attention on the surface.
  • Subsurface twitching
    With slightly stronger, short tugs on the slack line, you can make the lure dive. It breaks out uncontrollably to the left and right, perfectly imitating a wounded fish.
  • Stop-and-go technique
    Combine both guiding styles and incorporate breaks every now and then. Especially when the lure rises to the surface after a twitch phase, brutal attacks often occur.
